Being a real estate agent in this community means more than helping people buy and sell homes. It means being invested in the people who live here — their families, their futures, and the world their kids are growing up in. That's why I'm so excited to invite you to join me at a very special volunteer event on May 2nd at Feed My Starving Children in Eagan.

I'll be there packing meals right alongside you. This isn't just a sponsorship — it's something I care about deeply, and I'd love to spend a couple of hours doing something meaningful together.

"No experience needed — just a willing heart and a couple of hours to spare. This is one of those events where you'll leave feeling truly full."

What Is Feed My Starving Children?

Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a non-profit organization based right here in Minnesota that hand-packs nutritious meals specifically formulated for malnourished children around the world. Since 1987, they've shipped over 2 billion meals to kids in need across more than 70 countries.

The Eagan packing facility is one of their most active locations, and volunteer packing events are how the magic happens. When you show up, you're not just filling bags — you're giving a child a meal that could change everything.

What to Expect at the Event

You don't need any experience, any special skills, or anything other than a desire to show up and help. Here's what the experience looks like:

Arrive & Check In: You'll check in at the facility and get a brief orientation. The FMSC team is incredibly welcoming and will walk you through everything.

Pack Meals Together: Our volunteer group will work as a team, scooping and sealing individually packaged meals of rice, soy, vegetables, and vitamins — the kind of nutrition that makes a real difference for a child facing hunger.

Feel the Impact: At the end of the session, you'll hear how many meals your group packed. It's one of those moments that genuinely gives you chills.

I'll Be Right There With You: I'm not just hosting this from afar. I will be packing meals alongside you, and I'd love the chance to connect, chat, and share a couple of hours of real community with you.

The whole session runs about 1 hour and 45 minutes. It's fast, it's fun, and it's one of the most meaningful ways you can spend a Saturday afternoon.

Why This Matters to Me

Over 13 years of working in real estate, I've had the privilege of helping hundreds of families find their place to call home. Real estate, at its core, is about people — and so is this event.

I believe that the most successful communities are ones where people genuinely look out for each other — not just neighbors down the street, but neighbors across the globe. Feed My Starving Children is a beautiful way to act on that belief in a tangible, hands-on way.

If you've been a client of mine, referred someone to me, or just follow along on social media — this is my way of saying thank you by inviting you into something that matters.

Who Should Come?

Everyone is welcome. This event is great for:

  • Families with kids (FMSC welcomes volunteers ages 5 and up with an adult)

  • Couples looking for a meaningful morning activity

  • Groups of friends who want to do something good together

  • Neighbors, past clients, and anyone in the east metro community who wants to give back

  • People who have never volunteered before and want to start somewhere wonderful

Space in volunteer packing sessions is limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible to hold your spot.

I can't wait to see you there.
